You boys are falling behind, I've been chain watching Ep4 since Saturday night :D

Right now the characters and the story seems to be building well. There are some really cool characters in it (Klan is great) and the combat is really..... really...

Macross :D

I'm watching it right now...

Man... This has made me a Macross fanboy all over again! I hope the quality stays right where it is!

I can't wait for episode 5 to be subbed. It's already floating around the net in raw format.

Well for the few clips and spoilers I have seen, I can only say one thing: "Dangerous aliens! YESH! About time!!" sort of...

No, I seriously have been waiting for an introduction with, atleast, one non-canon alien race that don't succumb to Spirita, love, sex, music or other hug-friendly methods other then guns, violence and fancy flying.

Seems I can safely bunker up some money to invest in a new anime series after all. :D

Just finished ep5.

Very very good ep, excellent builder into ep6 (omg at the cliff hanger!)

Once again can I state for the record, Klan rocks. That is all.

I liked episode 5, even though it was the typical date episode. The part that made me laugh the hardest was the locker scene. Talk about having your phone in the right pocket at the wrong time! :D Still it built up to a nice cliff hanger! Can't wait for 6 to get here!

VLC will play the formats although the subtitles might get messed up
Look for media player classic. Thats what I have on my home computer. Everything works fine.

Or download a file converter. That's what I use. I've converted all the episodes so far into MPEG 4 format.

I was considering doing that. I want to burn them to DVD to watch them on my TV. I like sitting in front of my PC but it never beats sitting on the couch with the remote in hand. I just hope since I got the 1280x720 versions of the show they convert ok to divx.

*Shakes fist in Alto's direction*

Damn you and your phone! DAMN YOU!!!

It was a good ep, like you said a date episode but still funny. Oh at the start in the intro, there is a half a second flash where Alto's VF-25 flies passed another fighter but can you can’t see it cause of the sun. You think its "you-know-who"?

Also who is the half Zentradi guy at the start, when you see Macross 25 transformed?

The plot thickens...

convertion didn't work. I'll try the player that you suggested Flare.

You would think that since it was the best Macross ever they would at least tell us what happened to his Holiness Isamu.

The guy saved the world and we never heard anything from him then you get some blue hair sun glass wearing hippie who bags himself a hot alien for a wife and wahey, you give him his own command.

Injustice of the Spacy at work I tell you.

Isamu Dyson is dead.

The director of Macross Plus said so in an interview (I don't remember the source but it was shown to me by a friend). It was in an interview in which he lambasted and castigated the studio for releasing the Macross Plus Movie and changing the ending.

His vision was that Isamu Dyson died. That is why, in the end, he just flies away in lazy loops instead of picking up Myung.

That's one way to look at it.

The ending is open to interpretation. But that is the interpretation I use as a GM, mostly because I respect creators and writers so dang much. :D
