As you may have noticed, Photobucket has decided I am no longer allowed to use 3rd party hosting. Photobucket wants $400.00 a year for the privilege of no ads and 3rd party hosting.
$400.00
Let that sink in for a moment.
Now, I suppose I could rehost everything in my dropbox but that is going to be a lot of hours to get my game up and running again. I do not have a lot of free time these days and, if I am being entirely honest, this is just one more thing that is keeping me from getting my posting done. I will be trying to get this all put back together with my dropbox but this is going to take time.
They are doing that with everyone. I have a ton of images on my RP site to deal with as well. And I just finished uploading them to Photobucket not that long ago. Wasn't fun. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. - Friedrich Nietzche
You just upload an image to wherever. I use https://vgy.me/ as listed above. Click on the big, blue upload cirlce, select the image that I want to upload from my computer when prompted to do so.
Then copy the image's address. When you want your image to show up here, paste the address between
[ img ] [ / img ]
without any spaces.
As an example, here is my Stormy's character image:
