Once again I must apologise to all of you for vanishing in thin air. Lots of things have happened since the above post and some are still work in progress but I wanted to let you all know that I should be coming back soon once the dust settles.

To make a long story short, here's what happened in the last 6 weeks or so...

After being made redundant, got a new full time job.
Signed contracts to later discover they would not offer flexi time as discussed in the interview. Having a disabled son, flexi time is a must for us.
Told Asicion to go screw themselves and my manager at Pepsi got my resignation withdrawn. In fact they were so happy I wasn't leaving that they offered me a similar role with the same hours and same money.
I accepted the offer. No longer at risk of redundancy which is awesome (and my office is 5 mins away from Alex's school).
Started house hunting as landlord is moving back to the UK (yeah, what a timing). Found new house but took 3 weeks! (market sucks atm!)
Started the fun process of packing and organising a house move...

And that's where I am at the moment, so please bear with me until all the above is sorted. I am almost all done with the main bits which means if all goes well and no other catastrophes happen, I should be re-assuming my posting by the weekend or maybe next week.

Thank you all for your patience! xxx

Yeah, I second that for my threads. In not issuing any banishments.

Just a quick note to say I haven't gone anywhere, however my time is limited and life extremely difficult right now as my mum is losing her battle with cancer and I spend most of my spare time at hospital with her.

I will try and post soon.

Terrible news.

Hello guys,

I am slowly going back to normal life after the loss of my mother. Little by little, things are getting back to certain level of normal and each day seem a bit brighter. I am blessed with a loving hubby and son, both have been my rock these part couple of months.

Thank you all for your words of comfort, it means a lot.

Now, if you will have me, I am ready to return... sorry it took so long.

Just point me where you want me to starting posting xxx

Love,
Nat

Just know that if there is something after all this, she would go and make a place for you. If there isn't, then I'd echo Cobalt's words.

Thank you guys. Much love to all of you.
Sorry I haven't been around, it took me longer than anticipated to get back to a sort of normal life. But with some help, I am back on my feet and healing. I will be reading the boards to catch up on everything I have missed, and if you would still have me, then I shall make a return the week after next if not earlier. We are taking a little family holiday break to EUro Disney, our first proper family away time since forever so really looking forward to it and seeing Alex's surprised face when we get to Disneyworld xx

That sounds a lot more excitng than the mini-vacation I', planning - camping in the back yard - two full days of cooking over a fire and eating outside. even with the close proximity to modern conveniences, it should be well overshadowed by Disneyworld. I hope you have a good time. You can post on any of my games that you'd like to return to.
