all I can say.. is wow.

Has anyone got an .avi version of 6 and 7? My computer, lovely thing it is, seems to be angry with .mkv at the moment.. that or the encoding on the ones I found suck. ^^;

From what I read, MKV is spec heavy. I dont know the fancy techie side of it but it does hurt.

huh.. -_- that explains why it doesn't like them too much.

If only Shinsen subs would hurry up and release 6 and 7.. ^^;

I get the feeling that Shinsen aren't in any rush for it. Gattai normally have it subbed around 3-4 days before them.

huh.. but.. gattai is .mkv from what I've noticed. -_- I'll just have to suffer, then. it's too awesome for me to miss.

Is Macross on this week? BSG and Code Geass are not so it would be my luck that Macross isnt either.

Flare? you got anything?

Episode 8 ran and it has been said the animation quality sucked on this episode. I haven't seen it yet but I'm sure the RAW file is floating around already on the 'net.

What ever I just want to see it! :)

I've been watching ToLoveRu and Kanokon while waiting for new episodes. I might even start looking at Vampire Knight. It looks interesting.

I get the MKV versions and then use Windows Free Video Converter to turn them into MPEG 4 files. But the converter can turn them into any type of movie file (even both DVD formats). And, best of all, Microsoft made it a free download for the converter.

Do the subtitles sync up how they do in the MKV format?

I'd like to do it and watch the vids on my tv through my PS3

Episode 8 is an interesting filler episode.

The animation is fine. People just have to judge everything out there as if they could do better.

Oh and wait for the Gattai subbed version. I don't like the way GG does it.

Yea I agree Flare, a mate of mine who likes his anime as well said that he read there was an art drop in 8, then when we watched it said that while good wasnt as good as before.

I actually liked to ep, there was a few pretty funny scenes and the ending was a good bit of a "Wha?!"

Oh and Flare, to the PM room.

Now that I have 8 episodes, I'm gonna get a blank DVD and burn them. That way I can watch them on TV. Does anyone know how many episodes in the first season?

Episode 9 was great balance of action and character building, and then 10 looks like its going to recap Macross Zero...

As long as its not a clip show (hello gundam) then I'll be happy. You think their gonna try and tie in Zero to Frontier's story and not just as a novelty point?

From the preview footage it looks like they visit the island...

It would be a good trick to visit the island since its on earth :P

More that likely its a set build on one of the islands of the fleet.

Well if they do, the series will get a novalty point from me for it. Tieing two series, with reference to an event that took place before Macross, breaks new ground (sort of), other then the relying on the originality the series provide by them self.

Arrrrrgghhhhhhhhhhh!!

I just heard Macross 11 is being pushed back a week!

Wow!

Episode 10 is probably my next favorite episode after Episode 1 and then 7.

Loved the tie ins and now it looks like the love triangle is really starting to solidify. :wink:
