Idle curiosity compelled me

Anyone remember the address for stuff pre-EZBoard? I thought this was pretty old stuff, but upon reading I realize its pretty old, but not as old as I thought

Thank you Kai. I had lost this link somehow. At one point I think the board was offline and we had lost all that data. Good to know it's still there. Now maybe I can gather some more data about the older timeline.

So much for that idea. Huge chunks of data are missing, but at least some of it is intact.

Oh, yeah, its just a cache of some things, some topics come up, others don't, just whatever happened to be scanned and saved at whatever point. That's why I was curious as to the old pre-EZBoard address, just to see if scanned anything that far back

Wow, so nice to see those old boards again. (also glad those SF images don't show up, those I'd rather forget... *shudders*)

After having gone back and perused some old threads.... I've decided NOT to bookmark that site. Wow, I really sucked back then.

You're not the only one who noticed that, Xuric. I was looking through those threads and saw some of the people I consider good players. I thought that if they applied for one of my games based on how they posted on the old boards, I'd never let them in.

Yeah, I was reading some things going 'oh my god I can't believe I thought that was inventive and cool'
Holy shit...uh, you guys still want this? It still works O_O

It doesn't have more than the index of the old GD site though, was hoping it had cached the history
Haha...
http://members.nbci.com/Lady_Kyra, Wildfire's MRC 1/2. I don't even remember what that was, if anything, nor owning that particular free webspace account...sadly, there was no record outside a blank page, so I may never know :7

Cool. Why don't we have one of these?

Well, you did, its what I used when I was essentially running the Joining Board, but quite frankly the then Senior Staff didn't take kindly to the idea of me doing things my own way/without express permission over there, so it never got an official seal of approval or anything.
If you think it's still useful, we can hash out what needs to change and put it on the server.

Yep, feel free to load that character creater up to the server. We should work out a way to load it up to a mySQL database instead though... Let me think on it (as well as thinking on a question Xuric sent me).
