Wow, I put in my real* Japanese name, and it spat out:
石丸 Ishimaru (round stone) 拓海 Takumi (open sea)
Hmmm... strange that it doesn't accept Japanese names...
* Yes, I have legally changed my name.

中島 Nakashima (center of the island) 拓海 Takumi (open sea)
This makes me wonder what system is used to determine the name. This doesn't mean anything similar to my actual name.

秋本 Akimoto (autumn book) 明 Akira (bright)
I got this one when I went back to try again just to see if it would be the same. I accidentally hit enter without inputting any type. Gerhard, that means that your family name is the same as nothing.

改 what? ;7
Oh alright, something closer to real, ルビキ サラ would be my name in katakana, transliteration based on meaning is a bit more difficult but I'm approximating the region for my last name as a coastal valley, so Kishitani Hime, 岸谷 姫
The generator says Saruwatari (monkey on a crossing bridge) Michiko (child of a thousand beauties) Right.
Japanese Name...
