Villians for a sci-fi game based roughly 300 years in the future. They are the basis for the legend of the four horseman of the Apocalypse. Each sect is dedicated to freeing one of their ancient lords that were imprisoned long ago. They cavort with demons and will accept body grafts or submit to possession.

I am feeling the last one more, but they all seem to ring of the violence ensuing rather than a mention of the four horsemen. Like the horsemen are a means to an end, rather than the end result.

If I may be so bold as to offer some other ideas?

- Heralds of the Four
- Scions of the End
- Ponies, Demons and Doom.

Just my twopennith :P

I also like option 3 :)

And may I say, Bear's suggestion #2 is also a really nice one!

I wholeheartedly agree with IronQueen's previous statemens. Although i like Ponies, Demons and Doom... it sounds like a childrens novel :) Maybe you should take up writing it BEAR?

Yup agreed.

The first two dont sit right, not for the big bad of a story. Lords of Chaos sounds very grand and formal, Armadeggon Lords seems more casual, like a merc group.

Harbingers of the Apocalypse is a good title. You dont peg everyone as a lord and you dont have local biker gangs arguing with you over rights either :P

I hate to sound like a broken record, but the third option sounds cooler.

Third option is nice.

My Suggestion: Avatars of Dismay (AoD) (Awesome Old Dames!)

As far as my 2ยข goes, I think your option #3 is the best from what you have told us of the plot.
