My posting will be slow for the next week or so as my mum is not doing very well and we have been travelling back and forth to/from hospital a lot the last couple of days. It would seem her cancer may have spread further but we are waiting for the consultant to see her and confirm

In the meantime, I am looking after her at home to help with her pain.
Please do keep her in ur prayers. Thank you x

I just caught this message as I've been away from the boards for a while myself.
Nat, take care of yourself. Mom's always put their kids first but it's times like these that you need to save a little bit of strength for yourself.
You, your son, Dan and your Mum will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello guys, just a quick heads up about a delay in my posting. I am not very well at the moment and fighting a nasty case of bronchitis.
I am hoping to return to the boards next week or so. Until then, you all take care x

Bronchitis is not fun. Been fighting a sinus infection myself that had moved into my chest, so I can relate.
Take care of yourself so you can come back healthy.

Hey peeps, just a quick post to apologise for the slow pace in replying to my GM's but Alex has been very poorly with tonsillitis and to make things worse he was given penicillin (Alex has had amoxicilin without problems before) and had a nasty allergic reaction so from now on no more penicillin for the little man.
I shall be posting for all my characters tomorrow night. Thank you.

I had a similar experience with penicillin, but not until I was quite a bit older. It messes me up now. Sorry to hear things are rough, but with my own delays in posting, I can't say anything. (not that I would).
hope he feels better soon.

Im sorry to hear about Alex feeling bad. I too had a reaction to Amoxicilin when I was young and cannot take it even now. Rash and the likes. I hope all will continue to improve and I will keep you guys in my thoughts.

Thank you, guys. After another visit to the doctor and new antibiotics, Alex is back to his normal self

I am so happy and relieved! He is usually a full-of-beans-on-the-go ever so happy chap, so it was so sad to see him in bed for two full days not wanting to do or eat anything.
Once again, I smile

Great news! If you're going to lose sleep, it's better if it's because your kids are too happy and excited to get in bed than if it's because you're worried about why they don't feel up to getting out of it.

Ack! I managed to miss this thread somehow. ^^;;
Anyways, I'm really glad to hear that Alex's back to his normal, happy self. Even if the latter sounds tiring, parent-wise. ;D
Cheers!
