I have symptoms. Chills, fever, body aches, headache, etc. I am going for a test tomorrow.

One of the main symptoms of The Big Bad is not being able to pick up scents. Take a whiff of an open bottle of mustard. If you can smell it then you probably have a regular cold. Still get tested for sure, but this could put your mind at ease between now and then.

No loss of smell or taste.

Oh wow... I dread the thought of catching it.

I'll check on him later this morning and will post an update.

I tested positive and did not lose my sense of smell or taste. So that is not a guaranteed sign of COVID but a major one if it happens. So good luck.

His fever broke this morning and he's starting to feel a bit better.

He'll be home resting and recovering today.

Canceled my test today because they were using a test that the FDA said was bad. I am going to Kaiser instead. I have an appointment tomorrow.

Canceling a test because it was a bad and getting a different one... Man, the me from my school days wishes that he had known that was an option.

Update- took the test today. Fever is almost gone. However, the Covid Supplemental Program for California expired 12/31/2020. So I will have to try to get unemployment to make up for it.

Didn't have any of those five-minute tests, huh? Waiting sucks.

Test came back negative.
