History:
The Vensari Stellar Government was born out of Vensari Industries colonizing Vensari Prime. The new colonies called for a body to be formed to manage the populace and VSG became that body.
The VSG is, in truth, a vast Human Resources branch of Vensari Industries. With Arturo Vensari II sitting as the sole and highest authority of both VI and VSG, he has the power of an iron-fisted dictator, but rarely acts on strong arm tactics.
The VSG is a governmental body with sole control of distributing resources within Vensari Space and is organized like a Mega Corporation. Land is NEVER sold, only leased. There are no elected officials, instead VI employees are hired into managerial positions (i.e. City Managers instead of Mayors).
