To be honest, I was not overly thrilled when I heard Robert Downey Jr was going to be Tony Stark. But he is a pretty brilliant actor (I recently saw US Marshalls again and he impressed me) so I am willing to give it a chance. It does look pretty good so far.

There goes the possibility to watch the clip. Copyrights can be annoying sometimes, but it is not much you can do about it... :/

However, atleast I know there is a movie on the way. Might be worth to check out in the future.

The official trailer is up! It's not as good as the Comicon footage, but good enough to get the point across. This movie is gonna rock!

Having seen the Comicon footage and the official theatrical trailer (as well as reading the Downey interview in the new Wizard), I have upgraded my feelings for this flick from Please, God, don't let it suck™ to This might be pretty freaking cool™. I am not in the uber-excited mode yet but I will probably get there soon.

As for Robert Downey Jr playing Tony Start to a "T", Stark is a womanizing, self-destructive boozer. Not much of a stretch for Downey, you know? I am just glad to see him funnelling his own past demons in a constructive and hopefully cool way.
