Absolutely grim news. I know what it feels like to have the rug pulled out from under you. When employement is at stake, it's not just getting the rug pulled out from under you. It's like being sucker punched in the gut, then the rug getting yanked and due to the economy, you get kicked when you are down.

I am working again. It is a temporary assignment but I just finished my first week of work. Sorry about the lack of posting on my part. I haven't had a lot of free time.
Congrats on finding something. Temp jobs can lead to better opportunities if you make a good showing. Good luck with it and we will still be here when you get settled.

Out of town guests, my wife's birthday, and I am interviewing for a permanent position at the place I've been temping. I will try to get caught up tomorrow after work.

I am working a year long assignment, temp to hire. They like me so I might be there permanently. I am guaranteed a year, so it is good. I will be getting caught up over the next few evenings. Sorry for the long delays.
