Plumbing...it is what it is.
As for the break in attempt, that is terrible news. Nobody needs to feel violated. Consider a monitored alarm system combined with a large dog. Most intruders will not enter a home when this is a large dog cruising around inside.

You know, I heard something very similar from a friend of mine last January. 'Small accident.' 'Hurts a bit.' 'Talk to you soon.' She died.
It was nice knowing you, man.

I sincerely hope you are feeling better man.
On the other hand, this should also serve as a lesson to you that in the future, you should turn, draw and fire from the hip in one smooth motion, pop the bastard right out of the saddle.
As a cleaner, less gun crazy alternative, you should have used 'The Force' to lever against the weak minded fool stating....."This is not the accident you are looking for....."

Hey all.
Sorry for my long absence an sporadic sightings. It has been a rough few weeks for me, some pain filled weeks that drove me pretty near to the brink. I am recovering and I am enjoying some pain free days that I hope to extend into pain free weeks.
I will begin posting again, probably within the next day or two.
Again, sorry for the delays.

Not a problem man. Take all the time you need.
And if you're still in pain, maybe our brothers in the north can send you some of the good painkillers ;P

Status: Stressed & Anxious
Cause: Brother's Divorce
Symptoms: Inability to really focus on anything after spending the afternoon helping him cope and trying to keep his kids otherwise occupied.
So let me just say sorry I have not been around. I am trying and I end up just staring at the screen. I am not gone. Just... troubled.

We understand. Take care of yourself first (well... after your brother and his kids

)
We’ll be here for you.

Wow, I just caught this post. Sorry to hear about the trouble. Not good news at all and as you are not directly involved, I can empathize with your sense of helpleness for beign sort of on the sidelines and whatever will be, plays out...
Be strong brother. We love you.

UPDATE
Status: Stressed & Anxious & Angry
Cause: Lost job on Friday
Symptoms: More of the same only worse
It's a long story. I did nothing wrong. My employer wanted to keep me. My temp agency pulled the contract. It's shitty.

That does sound shitty. And the company can't hire you directly?

Damn. You're not having a good couple of weeks man. It has to get better though.
I'm with Sabre. Maybe talk to the employer directly?

I am going there tomorrow to pick up my personal things. I will speak to the Nat. Sales Mgr and my Supervisor then.

How long were you working there? I know from working at a temp agency that it if you were not working at that business for the better part of a year, then the company would not be allowed to hire you within six months of your leaving unless the company paid the temp agency a finder's fee equal to a year's worth of their percentage of your pay.

Then there should not be a problem as far as contracts go.

Are you still with that agency. They'll contract you out again, or does the problem exist with the agency. They can be a paid, they're already earning a premium on your work.

I am technically still with the agency. I also signed up with a new agency today.

New job is settled. Lots of time to sit around and NOT post because there is no internet access. Could be worse. My mother-in-law was in town so my free time was very limited. Things should be slowly getting back to normal and I want to start posting again.
FYI - I had a job interview yesterday. It is for a better position. More money. Better benefits. I feel like it was a good interview. I should know Thursday whether or not I get the job.
