Dark Elven Wars

Post by Sabre »

I'm going to be restarting a Dungeons and Dragon style of Fantasy game soon. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you. I'm going to start retrieving some of the archived material. You can either wait until I get a board set up to consolidate the material on, or you can look in the archive yourself for things with the heading of DEW.

I'm interested.

For all interested players, I'm going to reques that you also create an non-Underdark character (a surface character). I'm going to run this campaign in two sections, the first will be a surface party/s and the second an Underdark paryt/s. The reason for this is I want to take some time and re-read some Forgotten Realms stuff, some novels about the Underdark to refresh myself and make this a meaninful game.

I'll start with a surface adventure first.

Sounds cool.

Sounds interesting Sabre, what are you looking for in regards to minimum participation levels with the split campaign?

Hi Chris, great to hear from you. Participation levels would be a minimum post of once per week.

Ok, so I went out today to a local game store and ended up dropping over $50 on Dungeons and Dragons modules and supplements including on extensive supplement on the Underdark.

You have a local game store??!!? There are so few left. The closest thing I have is either the big chain book stores with only the most recent supply of 4e books, or a comic shop that thinks anything old should cost 6 times the original cover price.

I tried to find a copy of the 3.5e of Drow of the Underdark on ebay and the one book alone was $50.

It's good to hear you're investing in the campaign though, because I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
